Acne Treatment Shock Findings
Just about everyone suffers from acne at some point in their lives. It can be a mild attack that's barely noticeable or it can be severe and have a profound effect on your life. Unfortunately that's the type of acne I got, the type that meant I could barely talk to girls and I wanted to hide away and not go out. I was seventeen when it first hit me and I would have given almost anything to be rid of it.
Make no mistake, acne can strike anyone. There is no color or race bar: you're just as likely to get it if you are born in Lagos, New Delhi, London, Paris or Helsinki as you are in New York, Peru or Brisbane. Being young and in your teens makes you more vulnerable and I shudder to think at the social effects acne has on the world's teenagers.
It's got to be said that conventional medicine hasn't had much success getting to the roots of the acne problem. The doctors and "experts" tell us it's caused by genetics and our hormones, and made worse by eating chocolate and stress, so we eradicate chocolate from our diet and reduce the stress - almost certainly made worse by the acne - and there's no noticeable improvement. At least there wasn't in my case.
You have even used expensive prescription acne medications, costly treatments and some had side effects and you still have acne. It's very easy to give up hope. I know I did. I had a friend called Misha who had acne almost as bad as mine. With him the medications did work, but only for a little while. The day after he stopped using them, the spots started returning. Soon he and I were back to where we started. No better off after months of suffering.
It was a school friend of my mother, a woman we called Aunt Jane, who came up with the solution. Or at least she told us where to look for it. Auntie Jane told us that the spots weren't the trouble, they were just the symptoms of something wrong inside the body. She told us that no amount of expensive ointment or cream can get down to the root causes of acne.
The condition of bad acne must to be resolved from the bottom up as well as from the inside out. Placing a short term solution on the acne issue does not resolve anything. Your body is attempting to deliver an SOS to you if you have bad acne. It is screaming that something is really wrong. This means, it is time that you do something about your condition that is different. And that means a natural solution.
Certain foods in your diet could be causing or aggravating your acne. It could be refined sugar, it might be nuts, processed cheese, or even milk or any one of a number of food ingredients. The way forward is to find out how to treat acne from the inside out - to find the natural way to treat your bad acne. As Aunt Jane used to say, let your body find the way to treat itself.
